For meat purposes, Silver Fox rabbits are typically processed between 8–12 weeks of age:
8–12 weeks (fryer stage) offers the best tenderness and feed efficiency,
12–16 weeks (roaster stage) yields more meat with slightly firmer texture,
Over 16 weeks (stewer stage) is ideal for slow-cooking or broth.
